Aerial Yoga & Sound Bath

Play. Let go. Float back to yourself.

Ever feel like your mind has 47 tabs open, your shoulders are somewhere up by your ears, and you can’t remember the last time you truly switched off?

Join me for a two-hour journey that combines the playful freedom of aerial yoga with the deeply restorative vibrations of Alchemy crystal singing bowls and other instruments. Think less another thing to tick off your wellness list and more a little adventure that leaves you feeling like yourself again.

Floating sound baths have been taking London by storm, but I wanted to bring something a little different to the hammock. As an aerial yoga teacher, I’ve lost count of the times students have asked me to make Savasana longer. Turns out, we all love a good lie-down or hug when the world has been asking us to do a little too much!

We'll begin with an open-level aerial yoga sequence, exploring movement, gentle and optional inversions, soft stretches and the feeling of being supported by your own hammock. This is your chance to step out of your head, reconnect with your body and give your inner child a little time in the playground.

Then, the energy shifts: You'll settle into your own cosy hammock, cocooned in fabric and held in a space where there's absolutely nothing you need to achieve, fix or figure out. As the crystalline sounds of Alchemy singing bowls and other instruments wash over you, you'll be invited to soften, surrender and simply receive while softly swaying.

Many people describe being in the cocoon like being back in the womb: It's a chance to quiet the mental chatter, release the tension you've been carrying and give your nervous system some much-needed breathing room. From holding everything together to allowing yourself to be held (by the hammock).

By bringing together the energising, playful side of aerial yoga with the stillness of a sound bath, we create space for both movement and rest, freedom and support.

Think of it as an internal reset button, with a little playfulness, a lot of cosiness and the added bonus of supported inversions.

Contraindications:

Unfortunately, this workshop is not suitable for those with epilepsy or have recently undergone surgery. Please let us know if you are pregnant and we can send you the precautions for aerial yoga and crystal bowl sound baths.
