TERMS

OCA LONDON – TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings, purchases and studio visits at Oca London ("the Studio", "we", "us"), including drop-in classes, class packs, intro offers, workshops, memberships and retail. By booking, purchasing, or attending a class with us, you agree to be bound by these terms. Members should also refer to their Membership Agreement, which takes precedence for membership-specific matters.

1. Age Requirements

You must be at least 16 years old to book or attend classes independently. Those aged 16–17 attend at the discretion of the Studio. Under-16s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

2. Bookings, Waitlists & Class Cancellations

Classes must be booked in advance via our booking system (Momence). Spaces are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. We recommend booking ahead, as spaces are limited.

Bookings are personal to you. If you'd like a friend to take your place, please let us know in advance at gabi@ocalondon.com so we can update our records.

Where a class is fully booked, an automated waitlist is available (a valid payment method is required to join). If a space becomes available, waitlisted clients will be automatically allocated a spot this can happen up to 60 minutes before the class start time, and confirmation is sent by automatic email, so please check your inbox regularly. If you're allocated a spot within an hour of the class starting and can no longer attend, please let us know as soon as possible at gabi@ocalondon.com.

Any booking made via the waitlist is subject to our cancellation policy below, in the same way as any other booking.

Cancellations can be made via Momence or by emailing gabi@ocalondon.com, and must be made at least 12 hours before the class start time. Cancellations made after this window will forfeit the credit used and may be subject to a £5 late cancellation fee; missed classes without notice (no-shows) are also subject to £10 fee.

If Oca cancels a class, your booking will be exchanged for a class credit or a full refund.

We recommend arriving at least 10 minutes before class starts. As we have no reception area, anyone arriving after the class start time will not be admitted, we're sorry for any inconvenience this causes.

3. Intro Offers

Our intro offer is available once per person, for new clients only, and is non-transferable, non-extendable, and cannot be paused once started.

The offer is activated on the date of the first class booked with it and is valid for 14 consecutive days from that date. Unused classes are forfeited once the offer expires.

4. Class Packs & Drop-Ins

Class packs and drop-in classes are non-refundable once activated, and become active on the date of your first class booking.

Class packs are valid for the period stated at the time of purchase (for example, our 10-class pack is valid for 3 months from activation). Unused classes are forfeited once a pack expires, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

10-class packs may be extended once, upon receipt of a written request in advance of expiry, for a maximum of one month, for an extension fee of £5.

5. Workshops & Courses

Workshop and course bookings are non-refundable. This is because our teachers often travel from outside London to lead these sessions, and costs are committed on our side in advance.

If you're unable to attend, you may request to transfer your booking to a class credit (to the value paid for the workshop) or to another workshop, provided your request is made in writing at least 48 hours before the workshop start time. Requests made within 48 hours of the start time are non-transferable.

If there is a waitlist and your spot is filled by someone on the waitlist, we will swap your booking for a credit rather than a refund.

If you'd like to transfer your spot to someone else, please email us the new attendee's full name so we can update our records and waiver.

If Oca cancels the workshop or course, you will receive a full refund.

6. Memberships (Direct Debit)

Membership terms, pricing, billing dates and cancellation rights are set out in each member's individual Membership Agreement, provided at sign-up. In general:

  • Memberships have a 3-month minimum commitment.

  • You may pause your membership for full months only, one month at a time.

  • You may cancel at any time after the initial 3-month commitment, with notice given before your next billing date.

  • You'll need your sort code, account number, and address to set up your Direct Debit.

General studio policies in this document (bookings, conduct, health, liability) apply equally to members.

7. Retail

All retail items purchased are non-refundable. Exchange or credit is available only if an item is found to be faulty or unusable.

8. Freezing & Refunds

Membership freezes are available upon receipt of a written request and in line with the terms set out in your Membership Agreement. Freezes are not permitted for intro offers or class packs.

Save where required by law, or as set out in your Membership Agreement, all payments to the Studio are non-refundable.

If the Studio permanently closes, members will be entitled to a pro-rata refund for any unused, pre-paid membership period.

9. Health, Safety & Assumption of Risk

Yoga and movement classes involve physical activity and carry an inherent risk of injury. By booking or attending, you confirm that you are physically fit to participate, have no medical condition that would make participation unsafe, and have sought medical advice if you are unsure.

You are responsible for informing your teacher, before class, of any injury, medical condition, or pregnancy, and for working within your own physical limits during class.

The Studio and its teachers are not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under English law.

10. Studio Etiquette

Timekeeping: Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your class starts. As we have no reception area, anyone arriving after the class start time will not be admitted.

Practice Space: You're welcome to bring your own mat, or use one of our Lifeforme studio mats. Please clean studio mats after use with the spray and towels provided, and leave them out to dry.

Lost & Found: Items left behind are kept for 1 month. After that, they'll be donated to one of our local charities.

Showers: We're sorry, but we don't currently have shower facilities on site.

11. Personal Belongings

The Studio does not accept responsibility for loss or damage to personal belongings brought onto the premises. Please keep valuables with you or store them securely.

12. Studio Conduct

We ask all clients to treat teachers, staff and fellow clients with respect and to follow studio etiquette and any reasonable instructions given by staff.

We reserve the right to refuse entry to anybody, and to ask anyone to leave a class, or to suspend or cancel a booking/membership without refund, where conduct is disruptive, threatening, offensive, anti-social, or creates a health and safety risk.

13. Photography & Marketing

We may occasionally take photographs or video in the studio for social media or marketing purposes. Please let a member of staff know if you'd prefer not to be included, so we can accommodate this.
