Grounding Through Change

September always feels like a time of fresh starts - the air shifts, routines change, and we find ourselves settling into a new rhythm. This month also began with a lunar eclipse, which felt like a reminder of how life moves in cycles, and how every ending makes space for something new.

For me, September carries a few big milestones. It marks ten years since I moved to the UK - a meaningful moment for someone who left home at 11 and has lived in many different places since. It’s also the start of my second year of studying Physiotherapy, and perhaps most excitingly, my first month as part of the Oca family as a Pilates teacher. Pilates, for me, is more than exercise. It’s a way to ground ourselves, connect inwardly, and build strength that supports us in daily life. I’m really looking forward to leading your journey into Pilates, and to growing together in this community.

Moments like these remind me that change doesn’t have to be overwhelming - it can be an opportunity. So I’d love to invite you to reflect: what new beginning is September bringing for you? And how can you support yourself as you step into it?

Here’s to fresh energy, shared practice, and new chapters for us all.

See you in class,

Aurora 🌙
