An afternoon to connect through body movement, breath and open-hearted conversation.
For all men with a true desire to break through the veil of stereotypical masculinity and have genuine, honest conversations. Come to improve your listening, and to sound out your inner thoughts in a non-judgemental space.
Our Men’s Circle now gathers on the last Sunday of every month at Oca. The intention is to nurture a healthy culture of communication, support and relevance between men, within the endless stir of the city.
This month: Embers & Memory
November is the season of late autumn: the leaves are down, the light is short, and we start turning inward. It’s a time that stirs memories, traditions and old feelings, such as family tables, bonfire nights, fathers and grandfathers, and the people and moments we carry with us. Our grounding yoga practice and circle will follow that theme, asking what this season evokes in each of us and what we want to keep, release or carry forward into winter.
What to expect
A smooth, grounding and relaxing yoga and breath practice, shaped around the season
Agreement setting, so the circle feels safe and respectful
A check-in to see where each man’s state of mind is
A guiding question to set the tone of the circle
Individual shares, with space to speak and to listen. Nobody is ever pressed to share.
