Marking One Year of Oca London with Beltane Energy & Creativity

We welcomed the fire of Beltane this month to mark the official return of the summer. A time of fertility and creation, it’s apt we also celebrate the official 1 year opening of Oca London! I’m grateful to have made new connections and grown friendships during this time, and observe how my own practice and teaching have evolved. One aspect I’m leaning into more in recent weeks are expressing play and pleasure in physical movements. We are taking this expression exploration further in our first life drawing evening at Oca on Friday, May 8th. For me, I’ve found life drawing a meditative exercise of its own. Observing my own emotions as you mark a piece of paper, allowing yourself to completely detach from the concept of whats “good” or “bad”, just looking at what’s in front of you.
