Full Saturday Immersion of Sacred Practices

Experience a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to immerse yourself fully in the sacred practices of the Fulni-ô people. Join Witxo from the Fulni-ô tribe, for an extraordinary full-day journey that weaves together multiple profound indigenous healing experiences—the first time these ancient practices have been offered together in the UK.

This comprehensive immersion allows you to participate in all of Witxo's offerings in one transformative day, moving through a carefully designed progression from creation to ceremony, from personal craft to collective healing.

Your Full Day Journey:

Morning: Sacred Creation (10:00 AM - 1:00 PM) Begin your day by crafting your own ceremonial tools with Witxo's guidance. Learn traditional Fulni-ô techniques as you create both a sacred rattle and a smudge fan—powerful instruments you'll take home to support your ongoing spiritual practice. Through hands-on creation, you'll connect with ancestral wisdom while infusing each tool with your personal intention.

Afternoon: Body as Sacred Canvas (2:00 PM - 4:00 PM) Experience the ancient art of indigenous body painting (grafismo). Witxo will adorn your body with traditional Fulni-ô patterns using natural pigments, creating a unique design that offers spiritual protection and connects you to ancestral energies. This sacred practice transforms your body into a living prayer, preparing you for the ceremony to come.

Evening: Healing Ceremony (4:30 PM - 6:30 PM) Complete your journey with the profound Sacred Pajelança ceremony. Adorned with your grafismo and holding the tools you've created, you'll participate in this traditional Amazonian healing ritual. Through sacred songs, prayers, and spiritual practices, experience deep energetic cleansing, connection with the spirit world, and the transformative power of indigenous healing wisdom held in sacred community.

About the Fulni-ô People

The Fulni-ô are an indigenous group from Brazil's Pernambuco state, notable for their culturally conservative practices and their unique language isolate, Iatê. They maintain a three-month religious retreat each year and are known for their exceptional handicrafts. The Fulni-ô are horticulturists who raise beans, weave baskets, and work with carna fiber, while preserving traditional rituals in sacred clearings.

The name Fulni-ô means "people of the riverbank." Historically known as Carnijós, they now live in a reservation, continuing to honor their ancestral traditions and cultural heritage.
