Day 2 – Sunday, June 29: Iansã & Nanã - Air and Earth 

12:00 – Opening Circle | intentions settings and introduction

  • Smudging with herbs, 

  • Brief introduction to Exu (guardian of the crossroads)

  • Ori Prayers - asking permission 

  • Earth  meditation

13:30 – nature embodiment  with Jurema and Hape (sacred tobacco)
• Embodied flow connecting with Jurema through herbal tea and hape circle
• Grounding and energizing the body with drums and sacred songs - free flow movements 

15:00 – Break | Tea & Light Nourishment bring food to share

15:45  Elemental Ritual | Iansã & Nanã - Air and Earth 

  • Introduction about the goddess in Umbanda and Yuruba tradition 

  • Warm up with afro movements
     

16:30 – Dance Ritual | Movement and rhythms inspired by Iansã & Nanã - Air and Earth 


17:40 – Closing circle

Our guest teacher Savana Maia is coming all the way from Brazil to share this sacred work. We suggest a donation of £60–£100 per day, depending on your capacity.

Savana Maia is a cultural producer, performance artist, and spiritual guide walking the path of ancestral wisdom and mediumship. With over 20 years of experience in sacred traditions such as Santo Daime, Umbanda, and forest medicine, Savana weaves spirituality, embodiment, and cultural preservation into her work. Of Indigenous and Afro-Indigenous heritage, she is deeply committed to protecting Mother Nature and honoring native knowledge. Born in Rio de Janeiro and rooted in the Amazonian lineage, Savana collaborates closely with the Huni Kuin, Yawanawa, and especially the Noke Koĩ Varinawá peoples to amplify cultural and spiritual projects. She leads healing ceremonies that bridge the visible and invisible, drawing from a rich lineage of jungle wisdom, song, and ritual
